Emile Henry cookware features Ceradon®, an exclusive finishing process that improves the qualities of traditional pottery.
Fired at 2100°F, clay becomes chip resistant with a glaze that won’t scratch or craze, even when cutting.
On February 6th we conducted the first two winter cooking classes for 2010. Chef Diana demonstrated her skills during the two sold out sessions that covered crepes, tapas, delicious salads and tasty desserts. Many of the recipes, along with recipes from last year, can be found on our website. Simply click “recipes” and you’ll have quite a collection to choose from!

Also on February 6th and 7th was the Lexington on Ice Festival. Ice carvings, ice fishing, and the second annual pizza cook-off were just some of the highlights. Sean O’Rourke created a wonderful rooster ice carving for NOBLE that graced the front of our building. Throughout the weekend, cameras were clicking, capturing the crystal plumage of this magnificent bird as it glistened in the sunlight.
As mentioned in our, Noble has abbreviated hours for the next few months. Please refer to our home page for winter dates and hours. Because we have been on the go, time is going quickly. We spent several days at the Gift Show in Chicago selecting new items ranging from beautiful faux hydrangea stems, unique wine stoppers, new greeting cards, printed linen & leather wallets and bags, and a variety of home décor items. We will be introducing a collection of soy jar candles with fragrances developed for NOBLE that will be arriving late spring. As we shopped for Christmas decorations, we saw numerous brown and copper themed trees being introduced as the color trend for 2010. If you’ll recall, our wildlife tree in the front window this past Christmas season had showcased this color scheme, and we were happy to know we were on the leading edge.
The following week we spent two days in New York at the International Gift Fair. We saw the best of the best and were pleased to have finally found some items that we have been searching for since we opened. European platters, Country French tablecloths, and a new novel way to do kabobs on the grill were all items we knew we had to have. We ordered additional home décor items that fit well with lakestyle living and NOBLE that will arrive at the store late April.
